With SPF 50, you protect your skin from 98% of UV rays. However, proper application is key: For arms and legs together, you should apply about 16-18 ml, and for the chest and back about 12 ml. Often, too little is used to achieve full protection – so make sure to apply enough!

Application

Apply the sunscreen generously about 15 to 30 minutes before sun exposure. Make sure to use a sufficient amount, as applying too little will significantly reduce protection. Even sunscreens with a high SPF do not provide full protection. Avoid intense midday sun to give your skin extra care. Depending on your sun exposure, one application is usually sufficient, but reapply after sweating heavily or towel drying. Avoid contact with clothing, as it may cause stains.
