With SPF 50, you protect your skin from 98% of UV rays. But the key lies in proper application: For your arms and legs together, you should apply about 16-18 ml, and for your chest and back, about 12 ml. Often, too little is used to achieve the full protection factor – so make sure to apply enough!

Application

Apply sunscreen generously 15 to 30 minutes before sun exposure. Be sure to use enough product, as insufficient application significantly reduces protection. Even sunscreens with a high SPF do not provide complete protection. Avoid intense midday sun to protect your skin further. Depending on your personal sun exposure, one application is usually sufficient, but reapply after heavy sweating or towel drying. Avoid contact with clothing as this may cause staining. Avoid eye contact, and in case of contact, rinse thoroughly with water.
